We are currently seeking an Industrial Engineer
Provide Engineering support toward the processes and equipment. Provide technical expertise to promote best practices for continuous improvement of products and services.
· Supports the manufacturing, engineering, and quality operations.
· Apply continuous improvement processes such as visual factory management, value stream mapping, 5S, quick changeover, mistake-proofing, Kaizen blitz.
· Research, develop and prepare specifications for improvements to existing and/or new products, processes, equipment, and technology.
· Manage and Support projects by contributing to the development of engineering solutions, project schedules, tracking costs, preparing status reports, conducting team meetings, attending team meetings, communicating issues and progress to management.
· Supervise and direct contract personnel and outside vendors in the performance of contracted services. Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates within the Engineering organization.
· Supervise daily activities of all levels of Engineering Aides.
· Provide direction and technical decision making for management involving capital asset purchases and expenses for projects and/or strategic activities (capital/expense/revenue potentials).
· Prepare and present technical investigative reports to management.
· Moderate degree of both internal and external personnel interfaces.
· Preparation of specifications and protocols for the development, testing and qualification of equipment, processes and products.
Communicate both verbally and written, project activities to management.

Qualifications/Guidelines:
· The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes such as visual factory management, value stream mapping, 5S, quick changeover, mistake-proofing, Kaizen blitz.
· Required: BS degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering position or equivalent degree/experience.
· Experience leading Kaizen Blitz events and quick changeovers desired. The candidate will need to be adaptable to a dynamic environment while understanding the challenges and rewards of implementing these processes.
· Ability to perform cost analysis and line efficiency reporting of manufacturing lines and products.
· Leadership and team management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals possessing varying degrees of education, experience, and knowledge from Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Regulatory Compliance.
· Communication skills both verbal and written commensurable levels.
· cGMP and FDA knowledge
· Experience in software packages such as spreadsheets and word processors. Experiences with engineering software packages such as Statistica are desired.
· Ability to analyze, investigates, write specifications and propose approaches to technical issues.
· Domestic travel with possibility of occasional international travel.
